1. Commission. The exporter initiates a seaborne export booking entrustment to the freight forwarding company, and displays the detailed shipper, consignee, informant, cargo name, code, piece weight, specified container volume, and expected shipping schedule. On the bill of lading.
2. Booking. After receiving the entrustment, the freight forwarding company will book the space on the shipping company’s website. After the space is determined, it will send the exporter the delivery paper to inform the specific ship name and voyage, sailing date, bill of lading number, and the latest delivery. Delivery date, delivery to the designated station.
3. Delivery. The exporter delivers the goods to the designated station according to the contents of the delivery paper given by the China freight agent company. Generally, the China freight agent arranges the trailers and pulls the boxes to the factory for loading, which provides convenience for exporters.
4. Confirmation of the bill of lading. After the cargo is loaded, China freight agent will confirm the information shown on the cargo bill of lading with the exporter, and finally submit it to the shipping company. After submission, the bill of lading information cannot be changed arbitrarily, and if it is determined to be changed, an amendment fee will be incurred.
5. Customs declaration. After the goods come back, the customs declaration company initiates a customs declaration entrustment to the exporter. After the exporter takes over, the customs declaration company submits the documents required for customs declaration to the customs system, waits for customs review, customs release, and then waits for the goods to be shipped.
6. Sign the bill. After sailing, China freight agent goes to the shipping company to sign back the bill of lading. After the exporter settles the cost like China freight agent, China freight agent can mail the bill of lading to the exporter, which is the shipper. Finally, the shipper sends the bill of lading to the consignee, and the consignee takes the bill of lading representing the property right certificate to pick up the goods. In this way, the entire export process is over.
